Each location Ruth has chosen in northwestern Massachusetts offers slightly different workshop settings:
In Western Massachusetts Workshops at Historic Deerfied, the classes are held at the beautiful and spacious
White Church, within easy walking distance of the charming Deerfield Inn.
In the midst of the Deerfield National Historic Site, surrounded by
restored homes and museums - including major textile collections - this location is within 35 minutes of Bradley Airport in
Hartford, Conn, and a two-hour drive from Boston.
A Notion to Quilt, in Shelburne, MA, will sponsor two classes: April 16-19, 2009 and August 19-23, 2009. The classes will be held in the two classrooms a the shop, with bolts of fabric and notions at hand. Motels and B&Bs are a located within a short drive of the shop.
