I added more detail with ink to the birch tree, since the fabrics I had didn’t have quite the right patterns on them for me. Electric blue skies, bright white snow, with deep shadows, deep green pine and hemlock, and the wonderful complement of fragile pale golden beech leaves still hanging on from the fall. photo John Polak
